Fort Collins House Concert with Ed Harvey

Oct 28, 2:30 PM – 5:00 PM

Please join us for an afternoon of acoustic music, performed by our wonderful friend and local musician Ed Harvey. Ed is a true Renaissance man: scientist, educator, train enthusiast, traveler, singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He will share a set of (mostly) original songs as well as the stories behind the songs. Learn more about Ed and his music here.

What exactly is a house concert? Simply, a performance given in about the most intimate venue possible for hearing live music: a private home! Our aim is to bring together local musical talent with a supportive and attentive audience, in a relaxing and comfortable environment.

When/Where? Sunday afternoon, October 28 at a private home in southeast Fort Collins (exact location will be disclosed after you RSVP). Doors open at 2:30 pm and the concert will start at 3:00 pm.

Cost? Help support local artists and live music! Suggested donations for each concert seat start at $15 (taken at the door); all proceeds will go to the artist. Cash or credit cards will be accepted.

Do I need a reservation?  Yes! Advance reservations are required, so we can ensure we have enough seats and cake! Please RSVP by responding below, no later than Oct 26.

What else? We’ll have a break for beverages and cake (provided by the house) at intermission; you are welcomed and encouraged (but not required) to bring something to share if you wish!

Any questions? Email Lori (your host) at FortFunHouse@gmail.com.

Ed began playing music and singing from an early age with his family in Kentucky. He picked up his first guitar at age 3, and later added instruments such as mandolin, banjo, mountain dulcimer and upright bass. Ed has an amazing singing voice ranging from a resonant deep bass to a mellow tenor. Ed currently lives in Fort Collins with his wife Carol and their two dogs.
