Farewell Art Exhibition: Friday 7th June 2024.
As the countdown to our exhibition draws nearer, anticipation is mounting among us all. It's not just me who's eagerly awaiting the big day. However, there's still plenty on the to-do list: more canvases to paint, framing considerations, planning refreshments, and selecting artworks for the raffle and blind auction!
I've now also completed three large paintings and a handful of small landscapes, each of which I'm immensely proud of. There's something incredibly gratifying about wielding a palette knife to lay down thick, bold impasto strokes, as my young art students would enthusiastically attest to—"so satisfying!"
The initial promise of 50 new paintings to debut at the exhibition might even expand further. And just to reiterate, all artworks will be priced very affordably!
