Kudos Corner

Hello ladies!

I am all about Kudos for fellow members who should be recognized for their efforts in supporting our organization.  My monthly message will be called Kudos Corner.   So this month, I would like to recognize our past Madam DJ. At the annual meeting of the Greater Pine Island Chamber of Commerce, DJ was presented with the prestigious Al Mills Award for her many contributions to our Island.  Some Hookers were on hand to applaud her, as it was a complete surprise!  When you see her, please make sure to congratulate her.  If you know other fellow Hookers who deserve recognition, please send me their name and a few paragraphs about the person, and why they should receive Kudos.

I look forward to seeing all of you Monday, February 12th at the General Meeting.

Who will win the Travel Raffle? Be on hand to see if you have the winning ticket!

And I hope to see many of you at the Elvis show on February 14th; it will be fun afternoon out.

If you haven't already, please take a moment and complete our survey (see below). We'd love to hear what you have to say!

Adopt-A- Road 2024 Rescheduled for 2/3

Due to nasty weather, resulting in wet pavement and ditches, our January 13 Adopt-A-Road was cancelled.  Please join us on Saturday February 3 at 8:30am for the make-up clean-up day.  We'll meet at Blue Dog and clean from Miceli's to Yucatan, where construction activity permits.  The more that participate, the quicker we get done.  We are usually all finished in about 90 minutes.  This is a great opportunity for some of you new Matlacha Hookers to get to know others in our membership.  We have several husbands and friends that help too!  Thanks Deb Syring and Joyce Boyer for bringing Joel and Tom.  Feel free to invite friends and kids, and maybe include brunch at Salty Girls or Perfect Cup afterwards.

Hoping for good weather and we look forward to seeing you on Saturday morning.

Thanks in advance for your participation!
