Sandwiched between the better-known Black Friday and Cyber Monday stands Small Business Saturday. Did you know that, according to the Small Business Association, small businesses make up 99.9% of U.S. businesses and employ 47.1% of U.S. employees? Show us some love by ordering from your favorite Thai place, giving a shout-out to your awesome dry cleaner, or heralding the coffee shop that starts your day. For those, like me, who reside in Rockland County, be sure to check out Main Street Marketplace for direct links to small-business websites, menus, and sales across the county. |
