In commemoration of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, Voces en la Frontera will converse with academics and activists who are in the daily struggle for women's rights and equality in El Salvador.
Since algorithms appear to be dictating what we do and do not hear about the world around us, making sure our supporters remain updated about the reality from within is very important for VOCES. The perspectives they share are those of the Salvadoran civil society groups and movements they accompany there. Click here to learn more.
You can join November's conversation via Zoom by pre-registering for an access code.
MASCP was one of the founders of the Fair Trade Holiday Fair 25 years ago!!
We've participated ever since bringing you beautiful and practical embroidered items from Arcatao, Madison's sister city in El Salvador. We've also collected other Salvadoran treasures perfect for gifting-- like brightly painted wooden boxes and cool handcrafted jewelry. We would love to see you at the Fair Trade Holiday Fair! Please stop by and say hello!
If you can't make it to the Fair, there are other ways to support MASCP's work in Arcatao and the women's embroidery coop there. You can donate directly on our websiteand when you're there, visit our shop to do your shopping right from home!
