Sacred Space for Easter

Sacred space is an opportunity to take some time out from the busy-ness of life and reflect on our relationship with God and to draw closer to him. Join us at Christ Church Henton for a time of reflection and journey into the Easter story remembering the love and sacrifice Christ made for us all. The time of reflection is followed by a short service of Night Prayer.

Christ Church Henton; Monday 29th, Tuesday 30th, Wednesday 31st March; 7:30pm

Tenebrae Service

Join us at St Matthew's Wookey for a Tenebrae service. Tenebrae is a quiet prelude to Easter Day which helps us identify with the darkness and loss felt by Jesus’ followers as they experienced his betrayal and death. With the church building slowly descending into darkness as the service progresses this is a particularly special reflective service as we approach Good Friday and the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

St Matthew's Wookey; Thursday 1st April; 7:30pm

An Hour Around the Cross

An hour around the Cross provides an opportunity to recall the final moments of the life of Jesus Christ and remember the sacrifice he made as he was crucified for our sins. A creative and reflective service.

Christ Church, Coxley; Good Friday 2nd April; 2:00pm

Easter Sunday

We are happy to announce that this Easter each of our churches will be holding an Easter Service so please join us to celebrate the greatest day in history, the day that means that we all have access to God and the gift of eternal life!
