Reaching out with my warmest wishes as we tumble into this new year!

I'm so grateful to be in a profession that revolves around collaborative creativity and teamwork, and I must say, even with all the chaos of this past year, I have been so very lucky to spend most of my days engaged in inspiring and uplifting creative exploration with so many beautiful humans

that have chosen to play in this industry. And now that the strikes are over, I wanted to take a moment to share just a couple of my 2023 highlights as a way to kick off this new year.

Some fun things include guest stars on CSI: VEGAS and THE ROOKIE, seven wonderful short films, speaking at the San Diego Comic Con for 6,500 fans, directing for a beautiful animated series, so many video games, animated projects and more...

I've been privileged to coach so many talented actors and teach inspiring workshops. Amidst it all I've been committed to continue honing my own skills with acting coach Robert Colt, in my opinion, one of Hollywood's best kept secrets. He has literally changed my whole approach to acting, and helped me fall in love with it again in ways I've never imagined. I will be interviewing him Monday at 6:30pm on IG Live, and invite you to join us.(details below)

Highlights 2023

CSI: VEGAS - IN THE WHITE ROOM (Season 2, Episode 9 CBS)

I binge-watched Bridgerton and dusted off my British in preparation to play PRUDENCE PERLMUTTER in this unique episode of CSI. (and this was a very tall wig).

It was an immense joy to work with mother/daughter team Deborah Maxwell Dion & Hadley Dion on this exquisite gem of a film.

Currently in post production this poignant project is headed to film festivals in 2024.

So moved to work with my beautiful co-stars Izzie Watts & Kate Alberts.

Look out for these two up and coming powerhouses!

Robert grew up in show business. At the age of five he was catching wardrobe in the wings for burlesque dancers and by the age of 13 was working the spot light for sold out burlesque shows with over 1500 people in the audience. It was there that he watched some of the most gifted burlesque comics of their day. He would later learn as, a young actor, that Lee Strasberg would have his students go to 12th street and 2nd avenue to watch the popular show, “This Was Burlesque” and study the timing of burlesque comics. While he loved the shows and late weekend nights having “night lunch” with the cast and crew, Robert had dreams of being a professional athlete which was cut short be several knee operations. At first he thought he’d become a sports writer but while at college as a sophomore, he went to see the film, The Deer Hunter. When the movie ended he turned to two friends and said, “I’m leaving college. I have to do that.” Over the years that followed Robert trained with Warren Robertson, Bill Esper and Wynn Handman. It wasn’t until he worked with Harold Guskin that it all became clear and why it’s said “It takes twenty years to master the craft of acting.” This March will be Robert’s tenth year of teaching what he calls, “The Art of Not Acting.”

There are a lot of specifics involved in approaching the fantasy genre that make a world of difference in booking a fantasy role. About This Workshop:

As a voice actor, you can sometimes get stuck in a rut of “doing voices,” and wonder why you're not booking. You sometimes forget that your job is to make characters literally come to life for your audience. To create living, breathing characters that move people and to make them feel things, just like an on-camera actor. Even though cartoon and video game characters might seem 2-dimensional, your job is to make them multi-dimensional, infusing that monkey, high elf, talking dump-truck or ogre with a soul and a life all their own. Learn how to reckognize the difference between "doing a voice" and creating a character that comes to life and transports the listener to another world . . . this is the key to booking!
