Welcome to our Summer 2023 issue!

Our hope is to keep you informed of all the ways

we are reaching out to "the least of these"

in our community and how you can join with us to serve.

Matthew 25:40 - The King will reply, "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."

Hot meals are available 10:30 - 11:30 am Monday - Friday to all who come. Doors open at 10 AM, and devotion is held at 10:15 AM.

Drive through is open to the handicapped only beginning at 10:30 AM.

Each hot meal is served with water, cutlery and dessert.

Barbara Andrews began her commitment to LCCC as a board member after retiring from teaching for PSRC for over 30 years. She now serves as both a volunteer as well as a board member. Barbara's vision and attentiveness to detail were truly essential in the planning and execution of the construction of our beautiful facility, which opened in December of 2015. She has almost literally served on every committee and continues to volunteer twice a week. Her expertise and faithfulness have been crucial to the continued success of our mission.

Vickie Brit, a sales representative from the Lumberton Chapter #141 (Long Branch)

of the WoodmenLife Insurance Company, recently stopped by with a very generous $250 donation. She is proud to be a part of this 133 year-old not-for-profit life

insurance company that aids families and communities in order to fight hunger

and improve the lives of those in need. We are certainly grateful they

chose us as one of the many worthy charities they support.
