Our next release will be Sports World, coming out in September. Set in the same universe as the No One Can Hear You series, a couple of years before it, this book focuses on life on the core world of Pliant.
The world of Pliant, known colloquially as Sport's World, isn't like most of the planets in the Terran Alliance. People don't go there to grow mana or to just make a living. They go there to make a name for themselves. To excel at the one thing that most of the people there lived for.
Did you know that we also have audiobooks? We're currently working through all our previous books, trying to include them in our current audiobook collection. But going forward, all books, including Sports World, will now be released with an audiobook. These are only available on Google Play at the moment, but we are still looking into other avenues as well. Check out our Audiobook page on the website for which titles are currently available.
From the Writer's Desk
With Fire's Tongue wrapped up, we're moving on to our next book. Namely, The Darkness Within. Those of you following along at home might remember that this book had been on the Writer's Desk before, back in December. It had been the book I was writing for my Write-a-thon, my (failed) attempt at writing an entire book within a week. Now that it's on my desk again, I'll be cleaning it up a little and pushing forward with it on my usual schedule.
I've already started the clean-up of the old writing, and I gotta say, it's not as bad as I remember it being. There were a few things that I missed out on from my first pass at it, specifically a scene where we're introducing Jenny's parents and some references to the army hanging out in the woods around the school. I still agree with my decision to put it on hold and not push for it that one week in December, but more because I didn't have the time to ruminate on it. To see the parts that I was missing last time.
And of course, I was way too distracted by trying to stream the process at the same time.

With it being September, that must mean that our next event is coming up. Collingswood is the first Saturday in October, so our newsletter will be delayed for the new subscribers. We'll be having our usual booth there, along with advanced printings of Cary Simms: The Fairy Mushroom Forest. I hope to see everyone out there this year.
