First ENCORE Regional Impact Campaign during OEEC is a wrap!

With two days of talk shows, round tables and networking - and a total of 138 sessions, 181 content contributors and 1,342 one-on-one matches - the 13th Offshore Energy Exhibition & Conference has successfully wrapped up its first virtual edition. Meanwhile, the ENCORE project is proud to have widely contributed to the programme with our Regional Impact Campaign and looks back at a very fruitful collaboration.

This round table session, hosted within the match-making sector of the conference, was the perfect place for our ENCORE technology developers to pitch their technology to an interested audience from the supply chain. The direct line of communication between these two parties led to some interesting connections made and follow-up conversations to be had, perfectly matching needs, wants and demands.

ENCORE PROJECT

The aim of the ENCORE project is to advance five offshore renewable energy technologies - including wave energy convertors, tidal and river current turbines and offshore floating solar - in a structured and collaborative process and to develop open-source tools & services to facilitate the accelerated commercialisation of offshore energy solutions for islands, harbours, estuaries and offshore structures with a focus on 2SEAS region and export.

FINANCING

The ENCORE project receives funding from the Interreg 2 Seas programme 2014-2020, co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund under subsidy contract No 2S08-004. Also the provinces of South and North Holland and Zeeland are offering financial support.
