We have some good news to start this year on a good note!
Pricing
Due to Covid and International supply and shipping disruptions, we were forced to increase product pricing for India the past period.
As we are now back to having things under control, we are happy to announce a price-reduction!
Prices of Audio Note UK products in India will be reduced by 5-10%, and will be fixed to be only 10% higher as local UK / International pricing.
Like before, Audio Note India pricing includes all taxes, delivery to your doorstep and free personal installation when required.
Also -as usual- no discounts will be offered as our pricing is already heavily discounted.
How is that?
In India dealers generally charge 130% - 200% of International Pricing. We don’t inflate our prices only to be able to provide discounts, while we absorb most of the international shipping/import duties in our margins to provide you the best possible value.
Lead Times
We have been able to come 'back to normal’ with our lead times. Expect lead times of 8-12 weeks for your orders (except for Level 4 and 5 products).
We will import products quarterly for delivering and installation.
Demonstrations
Our demo-room in Sri Lanka sounds exceptional and is easily reachable. There are direct flights from all major cities in India to Colombo and Visa will be provided on Arrival (only an ETA is needed). We offer free pick-up from the airport and free lodging at The Music Villa.
And, as always, your travel costs are reimbursed in accordance to our Customer Satisfaction Guarantee upon purchase.
The demo room in Sri Lanka is aimed to demonstrate Level 0 to Level 2 products. As well as Tektron, ROON, Lindemann, Alto Extremo, Audio Selection, Analogue Magik and Lyngdorf products.
In the first half of this year we plan to offer a demonstration facility in Navi Mumbai. More news will follow when this has materialised.
To experience the higher level components of Audio Note, we are currently building a dedicated and fully optimised demonstration room in Bangalore.
From room dimensions, to acoustics to electrical plant, equipment supports and selected Audio Note components, this room aims to be a reference in India.
We are also working towards moving a premium 2000+ record collection to this room from Europe. This collection includes some of the most revered recordings and labels for your appreciation. Unique in India!
Service Center
For the service of our products we plan to open a service/distribution centre in Bangalore early 2023. Here we can provide warrantee and other repairs in the very rare cases this is needed. Also we will provide driver re-foaming and replacement services in this centre.
For servicing, we will provide integrated pickup and delivery services throughout India so that servicing your products will be as hassle free for you as possible.
New Products
A slew of new products are planned for 2023. The AX speaker will be reintroduced. Next to this Audio Note UK will come with a low(er) cost version of its famous MC cartridges, and of course our Field Coil Loudspeakers, Discrete Ladder DAC's and belt driven CD Transports are still in the pipeline.
Next to this, the upgraded version of our TT Three, dubbed the TT Three Super, will see daylight. Our TT Three Half Reference will be renamed ‘Reference’ while a Reference Signature version is planned for the future.
Besides this, Audio Note UK works on several projects that we cannot disclose yet. Be be assured that we are not ready polishing our product line yet!
Discontinued Products
As Audio Note India we will discontinue the sales of the products from Tektron Italia (they will only be available in Sri Lanka) and Smyth Research. The products of GIK Acoustics we will now offer only as part of a turn-key listening room and larger domestic and professional projects.
Also we have shut down our Vinyl store ‘Music Spot’ due to supply issues and the impossibility to import records quickly and cost effective into India.
However, exclusively for owners of Audio Note turntables, we are working on new ways to obtain records from abroad effectively.
Tubes / Valves
There continue to be supply issues for new production tubes, especially from Russia.
However, we now have an enormous stock of NOS (New Old Stock Tubes) available in India for direct dispatch. The most popular small tubes we offer at competing prices compared to New Production tubes.
