Gratitude!
We give thanks for this amazing and special place we call Southern Oregon.
We give thanks to the many beautiful and wondrous creatures,
especially pollinators and other insects, who help feed innumerable species, including birds, fish, and people.
We give thanks to the many organizations and people who are working to
protect the rights of Nature in all her magnificence,
helping to co-create a world that is beautiful and safe for all beings.

Bringing Nature into Our Gardens and Yards
Sunday, December 8, 2pm - 4pm
Jackson County Fire District No 5, 5811 S. Pacific Hwy, Phoenix
Native plants are a critical component for pollinator gardens,
but there's more to know. Based on the work of Dr. Doug Tallamy,
this presentation will explain why it is vitally important to grow native plants
in all vegetative layers--from a ground cover to the overstory.
Lynn Kunstman is more than a Master Gardener - on her 1/4 acre lot,
she grows a huge, year-round vegetable garden, a certified Monarch Way Station, a Pollinator Garden, and a Wildlife Habitat, and rears, tags and
releases monarch butterflies every year.
Fee: $10
Maximum: 30
Register here or call 458-214-0508 to hold your spot.
Deadline to register: Thursday, December 5
See Facebook event and flyer below for more information.

In the Spotlight!
Thank you, Hilary McDonald, Pollinteer!
by Julia Babb
In observation of the United Nation’s International Volunteer Day
(Thursday, December 5th), Pollinator Project Rogue Valley salutes all of our talented and generous “Pollinteers” for their time, dedication, and skills.
We would not be able to keep up with our numerous pollinator endeavors were it not for their efforts!
This month, we want to heap kudos on Hilary McDonald, who volunteered
steadily with PPRV before she (sadly for us) moved .....

Lights, Action, .....
With the giving season comes shorter days .... and our office could use
a little more light! We will gratefully accept any floor lamps you wish to donate, especially an uplight/torchiere style lamp.
And, while we’re asking, if you are planning to upsize your garden shed and wondering what to do with the old one .... we could use a small shed for
our garden tools and wheelbarrow.
Tax deduction letters available. Thank you for your support!
