Ohio Prison Arts Connection has been busy this summer - making connections with artists, building a searchable program list for our new website launch this fall, drafting resource guides for artists and returning citizens. Here are some ways you can help:

  • Build our body of knowledge. Do you know of organizations or individuals doing creative work to make space for people returning home from prison, or to support returning artists? We are actively building resource guides to support returning citizens around the state who are interested in engaging with the arts. Please, send us an email to let us know.
  • Save the date for April 3, 2020 for our third statewide gathering, which will be a working meeting of anyone interested in promoting arts access for people who are justice-involved.
  • Support our work. Interested in helping us to plan a festival? Have a public event we can share with our contacts? Please, let us know via email.
  • Attend the public events listed below, and support the efforts of those who are connecting to currently and formerly incarcerated folks in our state.
