Take Me Out to the Ball Game!

On July 19, the Joliet Slammers treated a group of Community Day Services participants to a free baseball game in downtown Joliet!

And, their hotdogs, chips, burgers, fries, nachos and popcorn were paid for with a generous community outings grant

from the Suburban Service League of Frankfort!

Eagle Project benefits St. Coletta's

Thanks to Life Scout Maksym Sierak from Troop 318, we have a new flower garden/meditation area to enjoy!

Maksym and his team of volunteers cleaned up the garden bed on the south side of our building (next to the one Baird & Warner tackled last month) and planted a variety of perennials, such as daylilies, Russian sage, catmint, feather reed grass and Black-eyed Susans. He even added a bench for all of us to sit, relax and enjoy the view!
