High Tea at Andersen's Bakery $75

Join us on July 22nd, 2022, from 2:00 - 4:00 PM for a high tea affair to commemorate the birth anniversary of iconic fashion designer Charles James. Our gathering will kick off the upcoming Fashion & Culture Exhibition. Hosted at the charming outdoors of Andersen's Danish Bakery & Restaurant at 1106 State Street, Santa Barbara, CA, this gathering is a tribute to the timeless influence of Charles James and a prelude to the cultural richness of the forthcoming exhibition.

You will enjoy a selection of fine teas accompanied by sandwiches like traditional cucumber & cream cheese and smoked Scottish salmon. There will be freshly baked seasonal scones, a delightful assortment of pastries and desserts, petite fours, as well as a refreshing selection of seasonal fruits. We'll raise a glass of crisp champagne in tribute to Charles James' exceptional legacy.

As we savor these treats, we'll engage in enlightening conversations about Charles James and his muse, Mr. William Randolph Hearst Jr.'s wife. We'll present his rare pattern designs, his journey amongst high society, and his lasting impact on contemporary fashion. This will provide a tantalizing preview of what to expect in the upcoming Fashion & Culture Exhibition, making this high tea not just a celebration but also a grand prelude to the fashion and culture celebration that lies ahead.

Ticket Price: $75 (includes tax, tip, and fees). Your ticket is for an all-inclusive high tea experience in Santa Barbara, amongst fashion and culture enthusiasts.

Don't miss out on joining us for an elegant, engaging discussion about Charles James and his muse with the Founder of the Couture Pattern Museum. And yes, you may dress up or come as you are!
