It's that time of year - Achievement Days are just around the corner! A reminder to members that all project booklets can be found online and are required to accompany your project items at Achievement Day. Members who are completing animal projects who may special permission to complete later in the summer are still required to complete their member booklets (as well as activity pages) in time for their Club's Achievement Day. All projects, including booklets, are due to be completed by July 23rd.
We would also like to remind members and parents that Achievement Day is the ideal opportunity to say THANK YOU to project leaders and Overall Leader/s for their time and efforts. Our leaders are the people who continue to make 4-H happen in our communities!

Provincial Achievement Day
Following the discussion at the 2022 Annual Meeting on April 9th and with the written feedback that was received, the board recently met and discussed the Provincial Achievement Day proposal. With the lack of interest and enthusiasm expressed, the board had decided that a Special Meeting is not necessary and will not be moving forward with the Provincial Achievement day proposal. The board would like to thank the committee participants for their work on the proposal and recognizes that there is continued work to be done with the results of the original structure review including leader attraction and retention, member participation (especially non-livestock), overall leader resource support and showcasing the 4-H program to name a few. There are plans under way for the summer of 2022 with the return of local exhibitions and we look forward to supporting these local events in an increased capacity.
