Pest Campaign Kickoff Meeting When/Where: Online, Wednesday, December 8, 6PM Join our online meeting here Do you live in an infested buildings, or an apartment crawling with bed bugs and other pests, which goes unaddressed by your landlords? KUT is launching a campaign to help tenants fight back. If you’re suffering with an infestation, remember to always document the problem as thoroughly as possible. Dear Landlord Screening When/Where: Stay tuned! We are organizing a digital screening of Dear Landlord, a 1970 documentary about the struggles of low-rent tenants for better housing in Kingston. Following the screening will be a discussion with Joan Kuyek, a former Kingston City Councillor, tenant organizer in Kingston, founder of MiningWatch Canada, author, and lifelong community activist, who is interviewed in the documentary. |
