GOD IS THE HEALER

He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. -Psalms 107:20 KJV

From the Pastor's Desk

Greetings, to our community friends and family. We understand that we are living in one of earth’s most critical time, yet we are not left without hope. Jesus promises us that He will never leave us nor forsake. It is with this confidence that we continue to pray for each and every one of you. Thus, our New Community Church is continuing to pray for each family. Lastly, “And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.” -Hebrews 13:16 NIV

Health

Your immune system is your body's defense system. When a harmful invader — like a cold or flu virus, or the coronavirus that causes COVID-19 — gets into your body, your immune system mounts an attack. Known as an immune response, this attack is a sequence of events that involves various cells and unfolds over time.

Following general health guidelines is the best step you can take toward keeping your immune system strong and healthy. Every part of your body, including your immune system, functions better when protected from environmental assaults and bolstered by healthy-living strategies such as these:

·         Don't smoke.

·         Eat a diet high in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.

·         Take a multivitamin if you suspect that you may not be getting all the nutrients you need through your diet.

·         Exercise regularly.

·         Maintain a healthy weight.

·         Control your stress level.

·         Control your blood pressure.

·         Get enough sleep.

·         Take steps to avoid infection, such as washing your hands frequently and trying not to touch your hands to your face, since harmful germs can enter through your eyes, nose, and mouth.

Family Life

To help decrease the spread of the coronavirus, children all over the world are now spending more time at home. Thus, home is the perfect place for families to enjoy quality time together through worship, puzzles, games, arts and crafts, cooking, and other memorable, engaging activities.  I encourage you to utilize this time to bond with your family.

Praise Report

I praise God Almighty for providing for me and lifting me out of trouble concerning my finances and my career. God remembered my prayers and favored me to get a job that aligned with my career and was able to provide for me. He answered my prayers concerning my immigration papers and has been my constant companion. I believe that he has also equipped me to excel in my studies. God says in Psalms 46, "Be still and know that I am God" May all glory and honor be to Him alone in Jesus Christ's name, Amen. -Sister Ada
