Note from Courtney Dendy –Development Coordinator Girls on the Run St Louis I wanted to send a note giving you an update on our GOTR virtual 5k. With your help in communicating how Girls on the Run is serving as a resource for local area girls during this time and what we are doing to meet each girl where she is today led us to over 5,000 GOTR virtual 5k participants (3,000 girls, 1,000 coaches and 1,000 family members/community members). Amazing!! We are so thankful you chose to participate in a virtual cheer station for our participants and are so thankful for your support each season. |

PANHELLENIC SCHOLARSHIP WINNER Congratulations to Gamma Phi Beta member Maggie Hummel, who was awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the St. Louis Alumnae Panhellenic Association! Maggie is graduating this month from Rockhurst University in Kansas City with a degree in Civil Engineering. She plans to pursue an MBA when classes resume in the fall. Normally, recipients would have been honored at a celebration luncheon. Since this was not possible, we had a drive-by parade of Gamma Phis in decorated vehicles, and presented Maggie with a bag of GPB goodies. She was very surprised and appreciative of the recognition. |
