We are all continuing to work hard up till Friday this week -thought we would stop for Christmas Eve.

As a small family business that has been running for over 16 years it has had it challenges.
Such as recessions, Covid, forced lockdowns, a cost of living crisis and a forced move to a new venue.
Whilst we have poured what money we could into this new venue, saved where we can, we are so grateful that Sarah's Dad Wayne, he has done the whole renovation for FREE (yep!!! - we have agreed that once we are back on our feet we will then give him something for all his time - but he has worked solidly since November 10th for free - what a legend). This would not have been possible without Wayne's help. This has allowed us to use our money on building materials and create a beautiful new home for HMB. We have a 15-year lease here at Thatcham Garden Centre, hopefully with no issues to extend after that. So we can all get comfy in our new home...it will all be worth it!
We are also grateful to all our family members and friends that have helped along the way too - Phil and Sarah are surrounded by the best people in the world - YOU.
Of course, Phil and Sarah have worked tirelessly too - the days have been long but a giant glass of wine/beer/gin, over Christmas will recharge all our batteries.
