New bus layovers planned 

 

Businesses along Beaumont Street have been concerned for some time about the number of buses waiting in the area.  Auckland Transport are proposing to move the layover area to Hamer Street and review some of the bus stops in the area.  Full details and maps can be found below.  Have your say by 3 June.

Public transport under level 2

 

Auckland Transport are working hard to keep public transport safe and accessible.  Although capacity is reduced due to social distancing, extra services have been added in high demand areas.  AT have also launched a new app which shows users real time information on how many seats are available on services.  AT have produced a video with all the information you need - watch it here

Where should be path go?  

 

Feedback is now open on a proposed walking and cycling section of the Northern Pathway from Akoranga to Constellation Drive. NZTA have yet to determined which side of the motorway the path will run along. Once completed, the Northern Pathway will extend from Central Auckland, via Westhaven to Albany.
