A Note From Sarah: As we head into a new Academic Year, I am astounded by the progress we have made individually, and as a school. Our student base is growing, and as direct benefit, we are able to offer more when it comes to the quality of teaching, number of activities and events, and bonus items like My Music Staff student portals! I am looking forward to this new season of the Willowdale School of Music, it will be rewarding and exhilarating. Please join me in welcoming all of our new pre-registered students! If you know of a family, or someone who might benefit from music lessons, please forward this newsletter on to them, or encourage them to sign up for a trial lesson with one of our teachers (links below). Our impact on our communities will grow as we continue to share our joy of music with those around us. Summer Term The last day for summer lessons is Wednesday, August 28th. Our Pre-Fall Holiday will run from Thursday, August 29th - Sunday, September 8th. During this time you can still contact your teacher, send us emails and register! |

Academic Term Lessons The first day for lessons is Monday, September 9th. If you are enrolled in group classes, they will start on Saturday, September 14th. | | |

My Music Staff All students now have a My Music Staff portal, where they can check their lesson schedule, view and pay invoices and keep up-to-date on assignments and repertoire! Check your email for the sign-in link and password. | | |

Tuition Payment We are very happy to offer multiple online payment options for students now! Through your My Music Staff invoice, you can pay by Visa or Mastercard credit/debit. If you prefer to pay by bank transfer, sending an e-transfer is still an option. Post-dated cheques made out to "Willowdale School of Music" are also still available. Upon registration for the fall, you can request your preferred payment option. |

| | Gabriel Quenneville-Bélair is an experienced piano teacher, having taught all different levels. His objective is to give his students the right tools to enjoy playing piano! When he is not teaching, Gabriel is right at home on stage and performs across Ontario. In his down time, Gabriel enjoys video games, juggling and unicycling! Gabriel will be teaching piano on Tuesdays. | | |

| | Marie Anton has been a music educator around the GTA for a few years, and now joins us to inspire her students and help them to achieve their best! She is a passionate performer in chamber and orchestral music, and can be seen performing with the York U Symphony Orchestra and many other groups. Marie will be teaching violin on Wednesday evenings and Saturdays. | | |

Coming this fall... Coffee House nights! An opportunity to play for fellow students, parents, friends and guests, with the comforts of coffee, tea and dessert right at hand! This is a fun, low-key event to simply celebrate sharing music! |

Coming this fall... Community Outreach events! Students will have the chance to perform in our community for a number of events, from retirement homes to holiday parties! These will be opportunities to share our music with our neighbours and community |

Coming this fall... November Practice Challenge Month! Students and teachers will work together to set and complete specific goals per week, and will be entered into the prize draw at the end for the Big Prize (TBA). |
