City Nature Challenge 2021! Saved By Nature Board Vice President Teri Rogoway led a small group of citizen scientists on an adventure around Little Uvas Creek Open Space Preserve. Participants learned how to take photos of various plant and animal species to be uploaded for identification into the iNaturalist app. Focused on the collaborative aspect of people around the San Francisco Bay Area connecting to and documenting nature, data can be used to help managers protect natural areas by recording the presence of native and nonnative species.
