I apologize for the later email - I just could not stop working on this week's post! Let me know if you have any ideas for topics (and if you haven't yet, I hope you will consider writing a post! I know all of you have something wonderful to share).

A Beautiful Poem:

The Hound of Heaven by Francis Thompson

Last Tuesday I decided not to post any writing of my own. Instead, I shared with you one of my favorite poems ever - The Hound of Heaven by Francis Thompson. It is very beautifully written, and absolutely exploding with meaning - I notice something new every time I read it. The poem hints at the story of one who "fled" God, and illustrates how God is always there waiting with open arms, wanting only the best for us, and wishing we would return to Him.
