I hope this finds you luxuriating with a cup of something warm, or better yet a
great glass of wine, sprawled out, comfortably on your favourite chair.
After what feels like the longest winter of my life, I am whole-heartedly embracing
every possible suggestion, inkling and whisper of spring I come across, be it in
fashion, food, travel or interiors. I have been opening my windows and doors,
bravely wearing loafers; I even packed away my down-filled, parka for the
season. I am done with winter and quite literally willing spring to arrive.
In return I will most likely receive a nasty head cold. But I saw my first pair of
robins yesterday and a few snowdrops have popped up on my lawn,
so it is happening, perhaps just not as quickly as we’d all like…
Given that my passion and business focuses primarily on curating the home,
I thought I would start off this series of newsletters with a fun selection of items
that have crossed my path while in search of a special item for a client or a pick
me up on yet another dreary, winters day. All are available for purchase, and for
the most part are sourced from little shops that I adore. Life is for celebrating, so
I have made that the focus, by selecting a number of not so serious items along
side some steadfast classics. These items are meant to get you excited about
your own spaces. They are meant to encourage curiosity and taking perhaps a
more relaxed approach to how you go about decorating your home. Finding
delight in the thrill of the hunt while also stepping out of your comfort zone.
Hope you enjoy and thank you again for being a part of this endeavor!
