Outreach

CHRISTMAS GIFTS FOR THE RETIRED SISTERS

Every year we ask the local retired sisters what they would like for Christmas and we work to make their wishes come true.

This year, the Dominican Sisters are requesting a new blood pressure machine that costs $500. This will be used by the nuns living in the Infirmary of the Dominican Motherhouse.

The Sisters of Mercy asked for the following:

  • Postage stamps
  • Sets of blank note cards
  • Thank you cards
  • Gift cards to Michaels, Joann Fabric or Hobby Lobby (they have knitters and crafters)
  • Towel sets
  • Chocolates

If you would like to contribute, please bring your donations to the November meeting. Thank you to everyone who has already contributed.

You may also mail a check to help pay for all of the requested items. Please make your check out to NCBWL, specifying “Christmas Gifts” in the memo, and mail to PO Box 50994, Nashville TN 37205.

For more information, contact Claudia Weber at claudiaweber1946@gmail.com or 615-642-2242.
