Praise to Jesus, my friends, we worship His wondrous name! I can hardly believe it's 3 weeks since we completed filming The Gospel According to John - and I can hardly believe we still have a year of post-production before us! "Lord, give us the legs to run this race to the finish line!" And what exactly is that finish line? "For the Gospel is the power of God unto salvation" (Romans 1:16). Glory to the name of Jesus! |

And so we pray, my friends. I know I say it over and over, but there are few things that bear repeating more: let us pray - and pray. For truly, there is no other way - for John to progress or our other ministries to bear fruit; for righteousness to stand in these ever-darkening times; for victory in the challenges you face in your private life, and those we face in ours... "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses" (2 Corinthians 10:3-4). Yes friends, let us pray! |

If I may I share some prayer points for John with you... Post-production is a very costly process. Even discounted, cost will easily be in 6-figures. As God provided for filming we cry out to Him for post! Post is also complex and requires a team of highly skilled technicians for the various tasks of editing, visual effects, sound design, etc. Please join me in prayer for a team of His choosing with both skill and hearts of service before Him. Amen! |

My friends, we need to pray. I'm speaking not only about the continuing need - and frankly, battle - for the fulfillment of John... I'm speaking of the increasing ungodliness all around us. I'm speaking of the heartbreaks and hardships you may personally be going through. I'm speaking of God's passion to reach through all that opposes Him and touch precious lives and turn things around - "if My people...will humble themselves and pray... (2 Chronicles 7:14). |

It's a testimony that's worthy of a book, but during the filming, at the exact moment I was directing John 20:22, Maria was 60 miles away leading a beloved elderly woman to Jesus who she'd been praying for - for 49 years.
