Watch: Muncie, IN Youth and Leadership Describe the Impact of Gun Violence Youth Roundtable Discussions
WRTV News Report: This is more information about how I am working with the Muncie, IN NAACP Branch to help bring a solution and an end to gun violence in their neighborhood.
Mayers Strategic Solutions, LLC works with the public safety stakeholders to identify public safety challenges and develop public safety solutions through Public Safety Youth Roundtable Discussions.
More specifically, this Youth Roundtable Discussion will focus on empowering young people, especially those from communities of color, by giving them a voice that advances their inclusion and equity with law enforcement officers and other public safety stakeholders to improve community-police relations and to solve public safety challenges such as curbing gun violence and other crimes in different neighborhoods in communities.
This effort will be achieved by utilizing Mentimeter and Microsoft PowerPoint to facilitate at least one Public Safety Youth Roundtable Discussion for at least two hours to create solutions-oriented processes and mechanisms that are custom-tailored for the community.
Mentimeter is an interactive platform that allows presenters and their audiences to interact anonymously in real-time; and makes presentations, meetings, and lectures more engaging for audiences. Microsoft PowerPoint is a slide show presentation program, which uses slides to convey information. Mentimeter is compatible with Microsoft PowerPoint to produce powerful and impactful presentations.
