A Museum Without Walls - Join Our Community!

At the Couture Pattern Museum, we believe that the enchanting world of couture dressmaking should be accessible to everyone, regardless of where they live. That's why we're striving to become a museum without walls, where the barriers of a physical building don't limit us.

Although we can't all gather in one place at our headquarters in Santa Barbara, we've created a digital space where you can participate in the activities of the Atelier and learn about couture sewing through our complimentary Couture Forum. The aim of this forum is to encourage lifelong learning and to keep you curious and inspired about the world of couture dressmaking.

Lead a discussion by posting your thoughts, questions, or anything related to couture, sewing, or patterns that inspires you. By joining the Couture Forum, you will be able to socialize with other enthusiasts. Think of it like a Facebook or social media group within the website of the Couture Pattern Museum. Your participation and contribution are valued, so don't hesitate to get involved!

By becoming a free site member, you will also gain access to the database. The Couture database is filled with numerous designs for you to draw inspiration from or conduct research.

Blog readers, on the other hand, will have access to the Forum and Atelier blog where they can learn about the intricacies and behind-the-scenes details of creating vintage haute couture gowns for upcoming museum exhibitions for only $5/mo.

If you want comprehensive access to the museum, blog, and exclusive pattern database for self-study purposes, we invite you to become a Founding Member. Founding Members of the Couture Pattern Museum have access to exclusive perks and benefits that are not available to the general public. You will also become a part of the prestigious Founders Circle, where you can engage in valuable haute couture discussions about sewing, patterns, and future plans. As a Founding Member, you will be the first to know about all the latest developments at the museum and will receive complimentary access to all future courses. By becoming a Founding Member, you not only get access to exclusive perks but also support the museum and its future.  A Special Gift for Our Founding Members!

We're delighted to announce that we have a special gift for Founding Members!

We know that many of our members are passionate about creating their own haute couture garments, so we've dug deep into our archives to bring you an exclusive 1950s Monsieur Balmain's cape-stole pattern.

This classic haute couture pattern is perfect for adding a touch of vintage elegance to your wardrobe. Whether you're an experienced sewer or a beginner, this pattern is a must-have for any fashion enthusiast.

You'll love the way it drapes over your shoulders and adds a touch of vintage glamour to any outfit. Plus, it's a great opportunity to challenge your sewing skills and learn some new techniques.

We're thrilled to offer this exclusive gift to our Founding Members. It's just one small way we can show our appreciation for your support and commitment to the museum.

Thank you for being a part of our community, and we look forward to sharing more exciting news and updates with you soon!

Warmest Regards,
