Sunflowers
If we were all sunflowers, turning our heads to face the sun, we would recognise the good in the world. There is a lot of it even when if it doesn’t seem like it sometimes.
Life brings challenges. Some we can control, others we can’t.
We can’t shut our eyes and ears to what’s happening in this world permanently but we can take a break from it or limit our exposure. We need to for our own mental and psychological wellbeing.
During the first and second world wars life went on whenever and wherever possible. Children were born, people got married, went dancing, had fun as much as possible. Lived life in other words.

I know we are still affected by the pandemic. I know things are tough for a variety of reasons. I know we all have our challenges to face.
There is good in the world – be a part time sunflower and seek it out. I promise it will do you good.
