“Logic will get you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere”. This is a quote by the physicist Albert Einstein who was a curious, independent thinker from an early age. He excelled in creating new explanations for stubborn scientific mysteries. He won the Nobel Prize in 1921, and his work continues to demonstrate the enormous potential of an inquisitive and flexible mind. Christ the King School opened in 1938. We continue our mission to engage children in a creative, respectful, academically rigorous, culturally diverse, and morally strong environment. We guide students to enthusiastically embrace their education while developing a foundation of activism so they may take on the big issues in their future. This year, in the spirit of that tradition, we begin a program to Re-Imagine the Middle School. We will engage these students more actively in preparation for High School. We will broaden the scope of learning. We will introduce more project-based programs. We will bring in speakers to share with them a bigger, brighter world of opportunities. We want each of our students to have a meaningful, happy life. We work every day to make that goal achievable. |
