Race Starts Saturday - How to Watch

It's been a long wait, but the 43rd Barmouth to Fort William Three Peaks Yacht Race will start next Saturday!  The 16 boats taking part will leave Barmouth harbour at 15.00 for a 16.00 start and we are expecting a really competitive race.

You may also have noticed we have a new sponsor!  The race is now sponsored by E.ON, who deliver 100% renewable energy to all their residential customers.

Michael Lewis, E.ON UK CEO, said of the sponsorship; “Wind power is vital to Three Peaks Yacht Race competitors, just as it is a sustainable energy source powering Britain’s cleaner future. As a company with a legacy in renewable energy, we’re proud to combine both through the Three Peaks Yacht Race."

How To Follow The Race

Sadly, we can't encourage spectators this year, but you can follow the race online through our website.  We'll have live satellite tracking of the boats and runners, and regular reports, photo galleries and videos.

You can find all of this on our Live race page, where you can also see the results and all the team profiles.

To follow the tracking on a mobile phone you will need to download the YB Races app, then add the 2021 Three Peaks Yacht Race.  (It's free.)

Be warned, once you start watching, it's addictive :-)

The 2022 Race

If you couldn't race this year, but are thinking about it for next year, the date you need to put in your diary is July 9th!

Yours in adventure,

The Three Peaks Yacht Race Crew
