Currently obsessing over this Magnolia harvest candle from Target, which has been lit nonstop for a week. It just feels right with the cool temperatures and windy days.

Currently learning: what it means when a recipe states: ‘season to taste.’ I'm guilty of writing this in receipes all the time...think I'll stop!

Currently eating: delicata squash - every single day in my new favorite Fall salad. When our garden runs out I find them at Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods. This hearty seasonal squash doesn’t require you to peel the thin skin and roasts beautifully (and effortlessly) chopped up and baked or air fried. Currently feeling: Cozy Earth anything on my body. About a month ago I got the black pullover and joggers that feel like a temperature controlled, slightly weighted blanket on my skin. They go delightfully with a black cup of coffee and a soon-to-be-released Pumpkin Mocha Cake...oh and that silky quilted fabric below? That would be the all-season bamboo king comforter, which is officially my favorite thing to have in bed with me. Sorry to those who may be offended (looking at you, hubby).

Currently reading: Phil Jackson’s Shoe Dog the memoir of Nike’s media-shy cofounder Phil Knight, who turned a $50 loan from his dad into a multibillion-dollar athletic-wear giant. Mind-blowing story, but so down-to-earth that it feels like I’m reading about someone I might actually know. Click the above photo to find it on my Amazon favorites.

Currently hearing: “I want to look toned”  

 

Then STOP doing these things:

 

❌  Eating less and less calories (misery doesn’t create results)

❌  Wasting money on something that worked for a 20-something Instagram influencer (we both know that’s not how she actually got those legs…)

❌  Cutting out all sugar...or carbs...or fat (hello, restriction...and binges)

❌  Spending hours on the treadmill (it’s impossible to outrun a bad diet!)

 

Do this instead:

✅ Customize your actions to your body, goals, and lifestyle

✅ Fit the foods you love into your eating plan

✅ Let the science work for you instead of against you (hint: most of your external results are created internally!)
