Attract & Be Beauty Today, Create Tomorrow

Dearest community,

I have had so many moments these past weeks where I have been overwhelmed, frightened and so stressed. What brings me back to a place of love and safety has been the rememberance that I can handle a lot, that yes, I can survive AND even thrive. What brings me back is many of you; your warmth, consideration and vulnerability. When we gather we quickly rest in the truth; that there is so much more love and goodness in the world than there is hate. I want to acknowledge the many of you that are surviving at this time and I want to honor you. You're doing it. You are getting through. I want to honor those that are thriving during this time and using extra energy to foster good, kindness and support to those in need. What we all need right now is community. We all need take a look around and within and hold space for some serious beauty.

My internal mantra these past many days has been create beauty on the inside and outside. Getting mired in the details of the future right now will only create more distress on our nervous systems. However if we can be admirers, artists, poets, makers and creators of brilliance and beauty today, we can trust that tomorrow will be brighter. We can trust that what we put out we will get back.

In my pursuit of beauty for us all, here is a list of what I am doing today. Please share in sessions, in your visits, Zoom meetings and phone chats, the many things that bring light to your hearts. We all need you, and want you, to be drenched in beauty.

-Creating a new song everyday for Baby O

-Singing even when I feel heartbroken

-Asking for help from friends and family

-Speaking my heart with those that see me

-Taking to wonder fondly about others and speaking highly of them

-Asking for company

-Making safe space for hugs; acknowledging my need for touch

-Offering myself tender touch when I am hurting

-Making more room for laughter and leisure

-Standing up for myself

-Remembering to look at the sky

-Meandering morning and evening walks

-Studying the many neighborhood gardens and flowers in admiration

-Smiling (with my eyes) and saying HI! to everyone I see out in the world

-Making space for naps

-Learning something new

-Honoring my gifts

-More mindful eating

-Trusting my gut and intuition

-Creating space in my schedule for slower evenings

When we make room to acknowledge what is lovely within and without, we are not brushing aside what is challenging but rather maintaining our wise and wide perspective afforded to us through our intelligence and consciousness. Our awareness has room for it all- it is as vast and accommodating as the sky itself.

May you remember that you are not alone. May you make space to honor how far you've come. May you allow room to normalize all you're feeling, experiencing and knowing right now. Beauty is available and it's needed, you're needed, to keep the collective open, compassionate and moving ahead. One of you just reminded me that in our tenderness we are closest to source. Thank you for this wisdom. Thank you for your love and friendship. You ensure that joy will forever have a home in my heart.

Hands to heart,

Meg

A Fond Farewell from Heart Guide, Maddie!

Our sweet heart-sister, Maddie, continues her journey and spiritual quest. Read the note she has left for all of you and check out the many ways to keep in touch with her experiences and teaching offerings. We love you, Maddie. Thank you for your service to the Heart community, to yourself and to humanity. Safest travels! May love and boundless truth be yours! -Meg and Team Heart

[Maddie writes:] Riding the waves and continuing to surrender fully into Grace and all that is available in this human experience. After the last year and a half of being guided by Source around the world, I am leaving Milwaukee. My journey now takes me to California to start a new chapter with my beloved, Michael. He and I will be exploring the country on the road (possibly a camper van) as we continue our offerings to humanity. I am being called to step fully into private sessions and spiritual guidance, integrating embodied yoga into a holistic lifestyle practice. I will have weekly yoga, prana and meditation classes as well. These offerings will be virtual, in this way I'm honored to remain connected to sangha and the students who have shared so much of their hearts with me. I will miss The Heart Revival and Sangha dearly and am endlessly grateful for everyone who has shown support and love over the time I have been at Heart.

I'd like to share this Sutra with sangha (The Radiance Sutras - Lorin Roche)

sarvam deha gatam dravyam

viyad vyaptam mrgeksane I

vibhavayet tatas tasya

bhavana sa sthira bhavet II 47 II

This body is made of earth and gold,

Sky and stars, rivers and oceans,

Masquerading as muscle and bone.

Every substance is here:

Diamonds and silver, magic elixers,

Ambrosia that gives visions,

Herbs that nourish and heal.

The foundation of the planet,

Immortal magnetic iron,

Circulating in the blood.

Every element in you loves the others:

Earth loves rain, sky loves sun,

Sun loves the space it shines through,

Spaces loves everyone equally.

In meditation, luxuriate in knowing

This deep and simple truth.

Every cell is an organ of sense

Infused with majesty.
