Thanks to all the fans who responded to my Facebook question...but alas, no winner yet!  What I am actually looking for is the location of the hideout (described in the Fleming novel) where Bond finally finds Scaramanga.

Blast from the Past 

I was doing some winter cleaning recently and came upon this Ad Age front-page story. Oh, the glory days of my time in advertising and at Young & Rubicam.

ITEM 9

The North Country Garden Club (NCGC) of Long Island Christmas-time party and fundraiser featured a Ted Bell experience! 

The "It Was a Dark and Stormy Night" basket was kitted out with autographed copies of PATRIOT and OVERKILL, a bottle of Gosling's Rum (but, of course), ginger beer and a pineapple-shaped tumbler. The NCGC is a member of the Garden Club of America and all proceeds from the event go to fund over thirty worthwhile gardening, conservation and horticulture projects on the North Shore of Long Island.
