Would you like to help the still-suffering compulsive eater even more than you already do?

 

Our Mid Hudson Intergroup is in need of the following help.

 

Chair:

Shall preside at all regular and special meetings of this Intergroup.  Shall be responsible for establishing the agenda for all Intergroup meetings. May cast the deciding vote to make or break a tie. May attend all standing committee meetings. Shall insure that the general account of the Intergroup be audited annually. 

Vice Chair:

Shall preside at all regular and special meetings of this Intergroup in the absence of the Chair. Shall chair the Budget committee. Shall serve on the Bylaws committee. May cast the deciding vote when presiding in the absence of the Chair. May attend all standing committee meetings.

Special Events Coordinator:

Coordinates three special events per year: Spring Minithon, Summer Minithon and IDEA day.  Arranges for a group to host and plan the event.  Notifies the group of MHIG's financial support.  Is the liaison between MHIG and the hosting group.

 

12th Step Within Chair:

Gets direction from WSO about reaching out to individuals or planning workshops dealing with relapse.

Professional Outreach & Public Information Chair:

Contacts agencies for info about health fairs, etc.  Attends or finds  people to work a table where they share information about OA.     

Speakers Bureau Coordinator:

Develops a list of members from our area who are willing to speak at a meeting or workshop in our area.  Have a notice put on the website letting anyone looking for a speaker know how to contact the Speakers Bureau Coordinator.
