Interior design trends in the commercial industry tend to move a little slower than the residential market, however there is one trend that is becoming more and more popular, and that is using residentially styled furniture in commercial spaces. It started with foyers and has now moved onto breakout and communal spaces within an office environment. These residentially styled spaces use softer colours and timbers to give the user a sense of home and comfort while boosting productivity. Although designers are leaning toward a more residential look, they still need the pieces to perform at a heavy duty commercial standard, which is where we come in.
Over the past 5 years we have been aspiring to bridge the gap between residential and commercial fabrics. Our goal is to provide our clients with ranges of fabric that are suitable for both environments however stand the test of time in both style and quality. In this newsletter we wanted to show how using a Heavy Duty Commercial Fabric on residentially styled furniture is both stylish and practical.
