WE ARE HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE OUR

10 YEAR

ANNIVERSARY!

2008 - 2018

What started in 2008 as a small garden center offering hostas, perennials and a few shade trees, has now expanded to a garden center that carries over 100 different varieties of ornamental and shade trees along with fruit trees, shrubs, native perennials, annuals and vegetable plants.  In 2012 we began providing landscape design and installation along with  lawn care and maintenance services.

We are incredibly thankful to all of our customers, family and friends who have supported us these past ten years!  We hope to continue providing the highest quality plant material and individual customer service for years to come!

WHAT'S BLOOMING IN APRIL (maybe in May this year!)

Mertensia virginica

(Virginia Bluebells)

Native to our woodlands, the pretty pink buds turn to varying shades of blue as they mature. It is ephemeral so it will go dormant by mid-summer. Plant it with other perennials that will fill in the void it leaves.

Height: 18-24 in
Light Requirements: Shade
Bloom Time: April,May
Hardiness Zone: 3 TO 9

Dodecatheon meadia

(Shooting Star)

Another native to our region.  This plant is good for dry areas.  Clusters of white to lavender flowers with recurved petals nod on leafless stems, and attract bees and parasitic wasps. Very compact foliage tinged red.

Height: 12-18 in
Light Requirements: Sun
Flower Color: Pink
Bloom Time: April,May,June
Hardiness Zone: 2 TO 9

Helleborus

(Lenten Rose)

Lenten Rose is one of the first perennials to bloom in the spring.  This is a new variety called 'Rome in Red' which has maroon to wine-red blossoms and gold centers.  Hellebores are poisonous if ingested.

Height: 18-24 in
Light Requirements: Shade
Bloom Time: April,May
Hardiness Zone: 3 TO 9
