If you are a follower of my Fairytale inspired artwork, which stems from my Meffan Gallery Show 'The Girl who had a Tail' in 2013 you may be interested in my new instagram account. I am continuing to draw and create stories around the girl, charting her journey to woman through my drawings and digital collages that you can see above (Angel, 2017) and to the right (The Edge 2017). This work is really honest, raw and explores feminism, mental health, and the relationship with the body as a woman, through my own self-invented mythology. It's challenging and deals with thoughts and experiences that are not pretty, but it's art therapy to me. I do want to develop it more and work towards another exhibition soon.
