Next Steps for the Woods Creek Restoration Project:

  1. Hand clearing will continue over the next few months around parcel boundaries, structures, utilities and within the sensitive wetland areas in the center of the Woods Creek Corridor.

  1. Creek will be bypassed around the existing channel, allowing crews to reshape and armor the streambanks as needed.

  1. As the Creek work is completed, disturbed areas will be seeded with native species.

  2. All seeded areas will be covered with erosion control blanket or straw mulch to prevent erosion.
