Less Than Two weeks 'til Christmas

This time between Thanksgiving and Christmas is full of so much to do and so little time to get it done! Here in northern NY the daylight hours are so short it really makes it hard to get our daily goals accomplished but we do our best. Maybe the best gift for me every Christmas is the fact that we have passed the shortest day!!! A close runner-up has got to be Christmas dinner, it's just as big an event for us as Thanksgiving dinner. Our center piece this year will be a cured but unsmoked 22lb whole ham from one of our pasture raised corn/soy free pigs. With a local honey glaze and about 16 hours on the smoker it will be awesome, can't wait!!! Just an FYI, if you ever want a custom cut like the ham I mentioned, just let us know. We get it, food should be exciting!!!

We've had a bunch of our customers order meat bundles or send gift cards for family and friends. I only hope the recipients are as excited to receive them as we were sending them out. Our last shipping day before Christmas will be the 19th, so get your orders in soon!!

Attention Lamb Lovers

This year has seen unexpected interest in our 100% grass-fed lamb products. We have done our best to keep inventory in stock but it has been a challenge. Since we are absolutely committed to only offering what we produce from our own flock it takes time to adjust to increased demand. That being said, we will be picking up fresh lamb from the processor in the next couple days. Place your order now; we will fill the orders on a first come, first serve basis.

Enjoy this magical time of the year. Reject negativity! Put out into the world what you hope to get back. I'm always so amazed at the reaction when I take a few extra moments to thank the folks that keep the wheels on this crazy time of year. The cashiers, postal workers, delivery drivers, and all the other heroes of the season have a tough few weeks ahead. Let them know you see them, out some smiles on those faces!!
