MARCH NEWSLETTER

Check out what the 'Charny Army' have been up to

Welcome to the March edition of the Charnwood AC newsletter. This month there are a couple of key notices as well as some great results in the recent competitions.

We are keeping in contact with the University on the situation with Coronavirus (Covid-19) and you can find the recent England Athletics statement here. Note this may change so please keep checking on the England Athletics site for any updates. Please keep safe and follow the official guidance available; please don't come down to training or the clubhouse/HIPAC if you are feeling unwell or have any symptoms.

As this is a dynamic situation things may change. If we have to cancel training then we will post this on the website and Facebook, and get the message out through the coaches as quickly as we can. We will continue as usual until we are advised differently.

In other news, we are almost halfway through March and you should all be getting your membership renewals in. Remember, the membership renewal price goes up on April 1st - we want you to renew promptly.

As the Track & Field summer season hopefully gets underway with our first Open meeting on 4th April thoughts turn to the YDL, Seniors and Masters competitions. All the team managers will be getting in contact but please make yourselves known to them as well and let them know what events you want to compete in. If you do not know the person to speak to then please ask in the clubhouse or use contact@charnwoodac.co.uk.

As ever, if you have any news or photos, or want to contribute an article, then please email contact@charnwoodac.co.uk.
