Dear Moon’s Nest families,

I have had such a beautiful fall with your kiddos - I’ve never felt so connected to the deep magic of this season, and am so grateful to have been able to witness their play. On December 20th, the last day of our fall term, we will celebrate the end of autumn, the beginning of winter, and the seed of light that waits for us in the darkness. You and your families are welcome to join us at 3pm that day for a solstice ritual, snacks, and community magic-making before we move into our winter repose.

We currently have 2 spots available in our Forest School Friday program fer kiddos ages 4 & up.  Moon's Nest Forest School meets every Friday at rotating natural areas and parks around SE Portland. Monthly tuition is income based and operates on a wide and inclusive sliding scale of

$150-$450/ mo. 

We also offer drop in spots fer Forest School Fridays fer kiddos ages 4+

Drop in cost : $50/day

*Weather appropriate gear and ability to be

comfortable outdoors in all varieties of weather required*

The Moon's Nest School of Magic, Mischief, n' Mystery

Thanks to my friends who came out fer our 1st session of Moon's Nest Messy Art Studio! 

I had a ton of fun watching y'all gettin' messy n makin' art!

I had put a bunch of thoughts into what supplies to use fer our messy art sessions, n in the end went with the old school non toxic tempera paint, glitter glue, modge podge, elmers glue, and such. They could use as much as they wanted, pour it on the floor, paint each other, paint themselves, and I didn't have to stress about my super labor intensive to get and relatively small supply of natural art materials like pigments n plants. We'll pick up our Messy Art Studio sessions again after the holidaze are over.

On Monday December 23rd Miz Flow will be offering a Portland Town Field Study to the NW Children's Theater! Please join us in our viewing of the much anticipated theater production, Matilda The Musical.

Kindle Cascadia 2019

The Moon's Nest School of Magic, Mischief, & Mystery is pleased to be partnered again this year with Kindle Cascadia fer the 2019 Winter Solstice Skill Share Gathering and Ritual. After taking the year off last year, we are so excited to be back with these dear friends this year. We invite you to join us this Winter Solstice Tide fer a magical 6 days of crafting, learning, ritualizing, playing, preparing our hearts fer the longest, darkest night of the year, and welcoming in the Winter season.

We'll get cozy in the lodge around the wood stove, delve into our magical shape shifting selves with an abundance of winter time forest play, make the village rounds, learn new skills and crafts, make gifts fer our beloveds, brave the darkest night of the year with nuthin' but our hand crafted lanterns, and enjoy an abundance of yummy, gooey, Hearth Arts sessions in the Aprovecho Kitchen Studio. 

So please do join us again this year as we continue the work of forming meaningful memories, relationships, and traditions that will inspire us throughout the year and bring us back to each other in the next. We are so very inspired to continue this work with all of you, and to cultivate magical experiences for the children of the Kindle Cascadia community and their families.We do hope that you will join us this year as we cast our circle of connecting, playing, and learning together!

Go to camp with Miz Flow

I'm reserving a spot or two fer witchlets of the Moon's Nest Playschool who would like to attend this gathering with me, independently from their parents. Transportation to and from Portland + all meals provided. Yer witchlet must be age 5+, and be comfortable with being away from home fer the duration of the gathering. 

These spots are offered on a sliding scale of $200-$400 for the week.
