PATRONAL FESTIVAL Sunday 8 September

We look forward to welcoming Canon Ann Clarke, former Team Rector of Becontree South, as our preacher at the 10am Parish Mass on our Patronal Festival. Please prioritise this important celebration.

MIRFIELD RETREAT18-22 May 2020

Enough people have now expressed an interest to make this retreat viable. The cost will be around £400 per person. If you are interested, add your name to the list at the back of church. More details will follow. No financial commitment is required until around November.

MINISTRY AND MISSION UNIT (MMU)

In 2015, the Bishop of Chelmsford charged each parish in the diocese to collaborate more and share resources with other local parishes in the mission of the Church. The clergy of St Luke’s, St Mary’s and St Margaret’s will be presenting the beginnings of a draft MMU Charter to PCCs over the coming months.

FR GARETH’S LEAVE

There will be no further public services here after the 10am Mass today until Mass when Fr Gareth returns from leave on Thursday. Please direct any parish /church enquiries to Margaret Quinney, who holds a list of priests to contact in case of pastoral emergency. Routine matters may be referred to Colin Newman using the office contact details on the front page.
