July's Dose of Inspiration |
|
|
July is the month in which we embrace nature, observe its principles and integrate them into our lives. Isn't it interesting why we choose nature for our summer vacation? Attending to the natural world immediately deepens our experience of gratitude. We are grateful when we bear witness to nature's infinite beauty. We marvel at the creativity, purpose and interdependence we find in every life form. Natural places have the power to heal our very souls and we cannot help but accept this gift beyond measure with thankful hearts. |

"Choosing Me, by Kelly Weekers. In a world with intense external pressures, where we often take on many different roles, it can be quite a challenge not to lose sight of who we are. We all reach a point where we wonder, “But what do I really want?” This book helps you answer that question. So that you can always stay true to yourself and live your life the way you want instead of the life that others expect of you.
The more we are true to ourselves, the happier we are. And the happier we are, the more we can contribute to the happiness of those around us. This book is packed with insights, relatable examples and practical exercises that help you to understand yourself better, to be yourself and to choose yourself.

In this episode, Jay Shetty sits with Ed Mylett, a successful entrepreneur and inspirational speaker. They dive into the depths of self-discovery, from uncovering subconscious anchors to making courageous choices, discovering the keys to unlocking your full potential, and living a life of purpose. They explore the power of intention and action in validating your path and learn how to navigate the challenges of speaking truth with kindness and compassion. I appreciated Ed's tips on how to maximize your time, how to not get tied to the past, how to speak your truth, the danger of tying your identity to what you do, and how to achieve success. |
