Proposed Policy Changes

Eagle Ranch Association staff are working to implement changes to a few policies in Eagle Ranch. The Eagle Ranch Responsible Governance Policy requires:

A copy of the proposed Association Rule shall be provided to all Owners or posted on the Association's website, if any, and Owners shall be allowed a minimum of thirty (30) days to provide comment and/or feedback on the proposed Association Rule. The adoption of every Association Rule shall be listed on the agenda for the Board meeting prior to adoption by the Board and any Owner who wished to comment on the proposed Association Rule at the Board meeting shall be afforded such opportunity in compliance with Colorado Law.

Policy changes being requested by staff include:

  1. Contractor Registration - All contractors working in Eagle Ranch will be required to register their business with the Association.

  2. Solar installation policy - Creating and formalizing a policy to ensure compliance with state regulations, and provide for a streamlined review process.

Owners will receive an email invitation to review the new polices, once they are available on the website.

Second Gulch - Open Space Management Plan

The Town of Eagle’s Open Space and Recreation Advisory Committee (OSRAC) moved the Second Gulch conversation to it's Open Space Management Plan discussions set to take place over the summer. The process is to catalog the natural resources and provide continued opportunities for public comments.

Eagle Bike Park - Fundraising Campaign

Coming this Fall 2023! The Eagle Bike Park will connect our community to the trails we love. For those of us who ride bikes, love bikes, it’s a no brainer. But for those who have never ridden, it provides a safe place to learn and build confidence. It gives intermediate and expert riders a place to progress to the next level. It will be fun, it will be huge, and most importantly it will help give everyone the ability to get out and enjoy our trails!

We heard you Eagle! Both the Mountain Rec Haymaker Area Master Plan and Town of Eagle’s Open Space & Trails Master Plan identify the bike park as a community need. So what did we do? We got it done, like we always do. It’s taken over 3 years of planning with our community partners including the Town of Eagle, Mountain Rec, Momentum Trail Concepts, Haymeadow and Hardscrabble Trails Coalition and we are rounding the last corner to the finish line.

We have over $260,000 of the $350,000 project committed and we are asking you to help us raise an additional $150,000. The bike park will be free and open to the public as long as weather permits. It will provide a safe and fun environment for our community to enjoy for generations to come. It will be a gathering place for families and friends, events, camps, and clinics so we can help everyone get outside and learn to bike!

If you are a business owner and are interested in a Corporate Partnership, please reach out to Nicky Asselin at Nicky@vvmta.org. We have great opportunities to build awareness for your business to get involved.

The bike park will serve tens of thousands of riders every year. Who knows, it might just be the key to world peace (or at least a lot of fun). So come on, let’s build this park this year!
