New publication

There are Two Sides to Every Story

RRR's comedic retelling of Goldilocks and the Three Bears (told from Goldi's perspective) was published on Spillwords.com AND has been nominated by the website as Publication of the Month!

Please take a second to read it, and if you feel so inclined, go vote for it!

Here's a little taste of the story:

"It’s time to set the record straight, the Bears aren’t the victims, and they aren’t even bears. Well, not in the way everyone’s led you to believe.

I know, this version is going to be controversial, but seriously, there are two sides to every story. And I refuse to stand by and allow the Bears to keep pretending like I’m the bad guy.

Did I enter their house without permission? Debatable. Did I ‘steal’ their porridge? Absolutely not! And what kind of monster breaks a baby’s rocking chair? Not this girl, that’s who! But the Bears have somehow reached legendary status. And they seem to have everyone fooled into believing that I, Golda E Lock, am a common criminal..."

My Two Cents...

In 2023 RRR's Blog "My Two Cents" has become popular. So popular, in fact, we have some award-winning authors and professional editors who agreed to join our ranks as guest bloggers throughout the year! Our goal is to have at least one guest per month and we're off to a great start!

Author Lashun Williams was April's guest and you can read her helpful guide: Thirst For Self: A Writer's Journey to Self-Discovery now!

Coming up on May 7th we'll have professional editor, Heather Hudec, of Simply Spellbound Edits's informative piece "Heather’s Two Cents on How to Keep You and Your Editor Happy." It explores "rules for dialogue/dialogue tags, dashes, and capitalization..." and tips for self-editing.

We will also see a piece from her later in the year on the different types of editing and reasonable costs and expectations of those edits, so stay tuned for that!

If you haven't already, don't forget to check out February and March's guest bloggers as well:

February: Author/Editor Lisa Fellinger-Finding the Courage to Share Your Writing

March: Actor/Writer Zolund (Zee)-Lee My Last Day, With You

We have some other great writers lined up to post in 2023, so stay tuned for a great year!

If you're interested in writing a review, short story, or anything reading, writing, editing, or publishing-related reach out! We have one or two more slots to fill late in the year. Click below to check out our submission guidelines which contain a link to submit. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
