My other favorite "Bhati"

Kapalbhati (kapal meaning skull and bhati means shining) pranayama is the go-to for allergy and sneezing relief. It can help clear the respiratory passage and keep it free from impurities and excess mucus. It purifies the frontal air sinuses and stimulates the brain.

My other favorite "Bhati" is Jaspal whose TV shows used to be a laughter riot back home. Laughter strengthens your immune system, boosts mood, diminishes pain, and protects you from the damaging effects of stress.

Nothing works faster or more dependably to bring your mind and body back into balance than a good laugh. I'm no expert in comedy, but I sure can teach you ways to combat your allergies.

The warrior poses we practice today are mostly modern additions. Most of the standing postures were added to yoga in the 1930s by T. Krishnamacharya.

The modern adaptions of Warrior I are based on an ancient Indian martial arts stance. The pose should be long but allow you to step forward or back easily. The center of gravity is low, so you’re stable and grounded on your feet. The chest is open in a symbol of courage, and you gaze directly forward across the battlefield.

By practicing the warrior poses, we cultivate the mind of the spiritual warrior – unattached to outcomes while maintaining focus and self-awareness. Physiologically speaking, the Warrior I pose helps to open the chest and enhance breathing, thus relieving allergy symptoms.

The Ayurvedic herbal compound

Trikatu is a traditional mixture of 3 spices—ginger, pippali (long pepper), and black pepper.

By keeping excess mucus in check during the digestion process, Trikatu powder promotes lung health and easy breathing and can help alleviate allergy symptoms.
