Current Juniors Needed to Serve on MSDE'sAsian American HistoryAdvisory BoardDeadline: 11:59 p.m., April 25th The Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) is seeking current high school juniors to serve on the Asian American History Advisory Board. The purpose of this advisory board is to review the Social Studies framework regarding the inclusion of Asian Americans and give feedback and recommendations to the superintendent. (You do not have to be of Asian descent to be on the board.) The Board will meet virtually in the late afternoon or early evening four times during the year. | | |

Division 5 Leadership Conference Saturday, May 7, 2022Registration closes 11:59 p.m., Sunday, April 24 The Division 5 conference is back! On Saturday, May 7th, 2022, MASC will be hosting a conference for the southern part of Maryland. Division 5 includes Charles County (CCASC), Calvert County (CASC), and St. Mary’s County (SMASC). This is an event open to students from schools that are members or non-members of MASC from these counties. The event will feature a panel of MASC alumni from division 5, informative workshops, and resources for your student government. A lot of students have faced challenges starting their clubs back up since Covid. This event will be centered around “Improving your Student Government,” giving you tools to strengthen your SGA. | | |
