Your Guide To Richmond's Pride Event!

Where To Go, What To Do

Food  The Richmond Rainbow Pride Board staffs a table with drinks and snacks, but there will also be a taco truck and possibly a burger truck.

What To Bring  In addition to anything rainbow, bring sun protection or at least an umbrella. It will be sunny and most likely warm enough for you to get hot. We will have folding chairs so that no one has to stand, but perhaps you'll find more comfort bringing your own folding chair.

Partner and Vendor Booths Every year we welcome multiple LGBTQI-friendly businesses and organizations who want to support our Pride event. Look for the complete list on social media closer to June 2! We are still accepting applications here.

On The Stage This year we've outdone ourselves, thanks to the timely and dynamic work of Pride Entertainment Coordinator Viva Commotion St James, we have a stellar group of entertainers for the entire day. Scroll down to see the schedule:

Her School of the Getdown continues to train the voice of musically-inclined adults and youths.

We Need Volunteers On June 2 at 8:00 AM

Calling all early birds! While we have been getting a steady trickle of volunteers, there is one area where we don't have anyone. If you like meeting new people, helping others and don't mind moving a few chairs around, this shift is for you. Work from 8-10 am helping Richmond Rainbow Pride's board members set up the stage and a snack station, placing chairs in front of the stage, and stringing our pride flags across the park. Click on the button and send us your info if you can help us in this way:

I'm In!

We Won't Be Meeting In June

Normally all our meetings are on the first Monday of the month, but we will be taking a break during the month of June to rest from our Pride event. We hope to see you on Monday, July 1st at 6:00 PM in the Richmond Room at the Richmond City Hall, 450 Civic Center Plaza…
